blog#3 Is the internet is leading to the evolution of human communication in positive ways?

I would like to say "YES".

It is hard to avoid a false dichotomy fallacy: positive or negative. However, it is also hard to deny that the internet enables humans to overcome the obstacles of time and space. With the benefits from the internet, we, humans, have more chances to learn other cultures, meet people, build new relationship  no matter where you are and what time it is. Transcendence of time and space copes with disadvantages of the internet, leading to the evolution of human communication in positive ways.  We must be smart to use the internet. We are the boss of the internet, of course.

Do you want to learn Swedish? Would you like to talk to a native Swedish speaker?
You don't have to go to Sweden. You can stay wherever you choose to learn Swedish. We can have  meetings or conferences with people from all different countries. You don't have to pay airfare to meet them. Want to order pizza for delivery? Line is still busy? You can still order through live chat with a representative. Everything is possible through the internet.

Do you miss your grandma living far away from your place? You can talk to her, looking into her eyes. My nephew was born a year ago, but I was away from my hometown. Skype let me see him sleeping, crawling, and giving me a big smile. Mothers watch their kids, tell them to do their homework, and tell them not to open the door for strangers while they are working in their work places. Everything is possible with the internet.

We enjoy talking with people, so it is our responsibility to use the internet wisely to maximize our joy.
