TIMELINE: (1919) Eglantine Jebb founded the Save the Children Fund in England - (1932) they started the initial programs provide clothing, school supplies and hot lunches to school children in Kentucky - (1980) “child survival revolution” is to reduce maternal and child mortality - (2006) “Rewrite the Future” is the Save the Children’s first global campaign involving all 28 members of the Save the Children Alliance, it was focusing on obtaining equal and quality education for children who are unable to attend school due to conflict or war - (2012) “Every Beat Matters” aims to end preventable child deaths- (2014) released a campaign video about what life would be like for British kids if a civil war erupted in London named “If London Were Syria"
